A GILT-COPPER PLAQUE DEPICTING DHRTARASHTRA

The shaped plaque shows the Guardian of the East seated in lalitasana on an antelope-skin, both hands playing the lute, wearing an armour, scarf draped around his shoulders, pair of boots, his face displaying a severe expression with open eyes below raised eyebrows, red coloured pouting lips and his head topped with a finely worked-out helmet.

Die geformte Plakette zeigt den Hüter des Ostens in lalitasana auf einem Antilopenfell sitzend, mit beiden Händen die Laute spielend, eine Rüstung tragend, ein um die Schultern drapiertes Tuch, ein Paar Stiefel, sein Gesicht zeigt einen ernsten Ausdruck mit geöffneten Augen unter hochgezogenen Augenbrauen, rot gefärbten, schmollenden Lippen und sein Kopf ist mit einem fein gearbeiteten Helm bedeckt.
