1836 P$1 Name on Base, Judd-60 Original, Pollock-65, R.1 -- Corroded, Scratched -- ANACS. AU Details, Net PR40. Silver. Plain Edge. Die Alignment I (center of Liberty's head is opposite the DO in DOLLAR). Die State C. The rim nickels over the second T in STATES are weakly seen because of the corrosion, but we are fairly certain that die state is correct, especially since there is no angling die clash mark above the eagle's wing. Brilliant from cleaning, there are several prominent scratches on the obverse and a couple of marks in the reverse fields, as well as extensive abrasions throughout.
