A George III iron cannon

A George III cast iron Naval cannon, bearing a plaque inscribed Portsmouth Royal Dock 1763, nine pounder, 180cm long, on a later painted wooden stand Condition report: Overall looks to be complete. Is quite rusted and blistered under the paint. The stand is quite rotten in places. Was collected from the garden of a local estate and was thought by the family to have been purchased at auction around twenty years previously. Very heavy to move, so will need to be craned from the auction.
