Oil on canvas. Signed lower left. Verso on the stretcher inscribed by hand «ce tableau est pour Jean Marie Montel» as well as four customs stamps on the stretcher and on the canvas. Verso on the frame a printed transport label by Robinot Frères, Paris, with the work's data and numbered «1589 A».

Condition report:
Good overall impression. Slight surface soiling, rubbing at the outer margins from framing, partially white shrinking cracks, mainly in the light areas.

Guter Gesamteindruck. Leichte Oberflächenverschmutzung, Bereibungen am äußeren Rand durch Spiel im Rahmen, stellenweise Frühschwundrisse, überwiegend in den hellen Bereichen.
